“How do I deal with a bully without becoming a thug in return?” Scilla Elworthy

Injustice creates anger, which can lead to revenge, even war.  We’ve hardly a track record to be proud of.

Rather than accept the status quo, Scilla Elworthy is a life-long peace activist.  She suggests there is evidence of a better way of overcoming oppression.  Makes total sense.

Videre is tackling the direct political bullying used to rig election results in developing countries.  It’s risky and by necessity operates under cover, but shows that exposing bad practice works.
Wikileaks, Edward Snowden and the Panama Papers show the world has changed, because data can be hacked and exposure is an ever present risk.  I like that!
